I'm an award-winning writer curious about all things scientifically weird and wonderful. My work has appeared in Australian Geographic, New Zealand Geographic and National Geographic, among others.

I'm currently based at the Australian Academy of Science in Canberra, Australia. Previously, I completed a Master of Science Communication specialising in creative nonfiction writing at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.

When not putting pen to paper (or fingertips to keys), I spend my time travelling the world with my hiking boots.
