I'm an award-winning writer curious about all things weird and wonderful. With a background in science, I mostly write about wildlife, the environment, history and climate change.
I’ve previously worked co-leading Bird of the Year at Forest & Bird, analysing research at the Office of the Prime Minister’s Chief Science Advisor, and communicating science the Australian Academy of Science.
I have a Master of Science Communication specialising in creative nonfiction writing from the University of Otago, and a Bachelor of Philosophy (Science) from the Australian National University.
